Roy Ngerng sacked by his employer

Blogger Roy Ngerng just got fired from Tan Tock Seng Hospital for misusing company resources, neglecting his work duties and having improper public conduct. He will be given one month’s salary in lieu of notice.

The man in question has not only gotten himself into a potential legal tussle with Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong, he is officially jobless too. Somehow, our hearts go out to him for landing himself in such a tragic state.

BREAKING: Roy Ngerng fired from Tan Tock Seng Hospital

28-01
So Roy has been terminated from the services of Tan Tock Seng Hospital.

The reasons given were:

1.) Misuse of company resources and neglect of work duties
2.) Improper public conduct

Staff are free to pursue their personal interests outside of work, they must conduct themselves properly, honourably and with integrity.

His activities at Hong Lim Park have raised a few eyebrows in this area.

…in particular, they cannot defame someone else without basis, which essentially means knowingly stating a falsehood to the public. Now, Roy has already pleaded apology to the Prime Minister – so essentially, he has already admitted to defamation.

Further than that Roy is widely, and very popularly known for his involvement with TTSH, the proximity of brand is just too close for comfort.

If Roy was perhaps just more careful with his actions, and not as reckless, he could have avoided all this trouble.

Many dissenting individuals work full time jobs in large organisations, even Government organisations and many have had no trouble.

Sylvia Lim for example – she’s an active opposition leader, even sat as Non-Constituency Member of Parliament, and now elected Member of Parliament. She didn’t get herself fired.

Donald Low and Sudhir Vadaketh authors of “Hard Choices” are both employed by the IPSS and the Economist respectively.

Daniel Goh, a sociologist at the National University of Singapore also has no problems with employment. Even speaking fiercely at party rallies at elections.

I think there is a lesson here to be learnt for all of us: it is ok to disagree. It is ok to voice your opinions strongly. It is not ok to take things recklessly.

Mr. Ngerng’s continued disregard of the hospital’s warnings and advice has rendered his employment with TTSH untenable. The hospital has then terminated Mr. Ngerng’s contract with immediate effect.

The hospital has lost a man that… perhaps really did care and was moved to do something for the people around him… but approached it with the wrong intent, the wrong approach and clearly a very dangerous manner.

Roy will be given one month’s salary in lieu of notice.

Is Singapore ready for an openly gay member of parliament?

Roy Ngerng, Singapore’s evangelist of gay rights and freedom of expression recently announced that he has just submitted his application to be a Nominated Member of Parliament, NMP.

He was nominated by his partner in advocacy, and also his hag (gay term for girl bff), Han Hui Hui who was well known for speaking up on any Singaporean issue under the sun and protesting at Hong Lim Park. They recently had a non-couple trip to Norway and posted selfies on their social media pages.

Don’t they look adorbs together?

We wish Roy Ngerng well for his nominations and recommends him to pick a more fabulous hag should he be in Parliament as needs to keep up appearances. We heard Cecilia Cheung, Hong Kong’s celebrity and socialite extraordinaire,  has just moved into town and is looking to paint the town red.

Proposal To Be NMP: What I Would Advocate For (Letter For Submission)

I have been writing a socio-political blog in Singapore which advocates for the rights of Singaporeans for over the past 2 years. Since 2012, I have dedicated and committed my time towards analysing the socio-political and economic issues in Singapore. I have written on issues which Singaporeans are concerned about and have advocated for specific solutions for the government to adopt.

In particular, I have advocated on wage and labour issues, income inequality and poverty, CPF, healthcare and educational issues.

I also believe that as a government, there is a moral responsibility for a government to ensure that its citizens’ well-being are taken care of and protected. In particular, I have been advocating for equitable and affordable access for Singaporeans to education and healthcare – two of the social pillars which would ensure that our citizens are able to continue to live well and contribute to our society and economy.

Thus I believe that the Singapore government needs to step up to ensure that the basic needs of Singaporeans in terms of education, healthcare and retirement, are adequately protected. The Singapore government also needs to ensure that Singaporeans are able to live with respect and dignity by according them the wages that would allow them to live independently, and that poverty and income inequality can be reduced in Singapore.

I will continue to advocate for these issues in Parliament and will continue to advocate for decent wages which will allow our citizens to live with dignity. I will also continue to speak up for increased subsidies for equitable access to education and healthcare. Finally, for our Singaporeans who have contributed greatly to Singapore, it is the right and responsibility of the government to ensure that they are able to retire well and respectably and that we are able to create a truly fair and equal society in Singapore, so that as a citizenry, we will be able to move Singapore into the next era.

It is in the interests of a democratic Singapore for even the smallest voice in Singapore to be heard. It is also in the interests of the Singapore government to be able to hear what Singaporeans from all segments of society are thinking and saying. I present myself as a bridge for the government, and for the people of Singapore. As a known blogger who has a keen interest in our country and who has amassed support from the blog, through the nearly 2 million views on the blog, I hope to continue to engage Singaporeans on issues that matter to us and present these in Parliament to allow Singaporeans to have a bigger role in the democratic institutions of Singapore.

The selection of representatives into Parliament will send a clear signal as to what the government is ready for. The publicity generated from this selection will also garner significant interest and anticipation of further representation in Parliament. I will continue to play any role I can to further and advance the rights of Singaporeans and I look forward to advocating for the rights of Singaporeans and their anticipated opportunities via me to do so in due time.

Thank you for this opportunity. I look forward to representing my fellow Singaporeans in Parliament to advance our rights and work towards a better future for Singapore.

Roy Ngerng owned by Supreme Leader Lee for speaking up for Sinkies

Roy Ngerng, gay poster boy for Sinkie rights and well known for his online moniker, sexiespider, announced on his blog that he was recently issued a lawyer’s letter after publishing his controversial article lambasting Supreme Leader Lee for the CPF system.

Prime Minister Lee’s lawyer from Drew & Napier demanded for him to retract his articles and issue an apology. Just like the Supreme Leader Lee senior, well known for silencing his opponents in the past, Supreme Leader Lee junior is using the same strategies.

We are waiting in excitement to see how this saga will unfold. Our sympathy goes to Roy for the amount of money he will have to spend hiring a lawyer.

I Have Just Been Sued By The Singapore Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong

Hello everyone, I am Roy Ngerng. I am an ordinary citizen in Singapore who believes in speaking up for my country and my fellow citizens. Over the past 2 years, I have written nearly 400 articles about what is happening in Singapore. I have advocated for a fairer and more equal Singapore where every Singapore and every person in Singapore can be taken care of and protected by our country. As of today, there have been nearly 2 million views on my blog.

Today, I received an email from Lee Hsien Loong’s lawyer. I am being sued for defamation. I have tried my best to speak up for my country. I have tried my best to advocate for my fellow citizens. However, today, I am sued by the very government which should be protecting its citizens, such as me. This is disappointing.

I have reproduced the letter that has been sent to me in this blog. The letter was sent by Davinder Singh from Drew & Napier.

In this article, you will see:

  1. The letter in JPEG format.
  2. Other relevant articles which exposes the Singapore government’s working.

I have exposed many truths about the Singapore government and how they have intentionally planned since 1984 to gun down on Singaporeans. Today, I am finally being silenced. It is disappointing that the government has decided to turn against ordinary Singaporeans.

It is only right that as citizens, we stand up for our country and we stand up for one another. It is only right that as people, we stand and fight for our freedoms. When faced with tyranny and treachery, we have to remain strong and united, and fight the wrongs that are wrought upon us.

For our future, for our rights and for our families and children, we need to stand and fight.

It’s time we stand united. It’s time we fight.

Also, on 7 June, we will be organising an event to demand to the government to #ReturnOurCPF. It’s time we stop the Ponzi scheme for tearing apart our lives.
